Zabbite Thai E-Sarn Cuisine is looking for full-time and part-time Line Cooks to join our kitchen team.
We are a Thai E-Sarn restaurant located at 4197 Fraser Street, Vancouver, BC. Our menu focuses on authentic Thai and E-Sarn dishes with bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and consistent quality.
We are looking for team members who are reliable, responsible, willing to learn, and able to work well in a busy kitchen environment.
Available Positions:
Line Cook – Wok Station
Line Cook – Soup / Curry / Fry Station
Duties
- Prepare and cook Thai and E-Sarn dishes using a wok and other kitchen equipment
- Work mainly at the wok station, including stir-fry and other wok-based menu items
- Prepare ingredients before service, including cutting, portioning, marinating, and basic prep work
- Cook orders accurately and efficiently during service
- Maintain food quality, taste, portion size, and presentation
- Keep the kitchen station clean, organized, and safe
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures
- Communicate and work closely with other kitchen team members
- Assist with general kitchen duties as needed
Qualifications
- Must be legally allowed to work in Canada
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred
- Wok cooking experience is strongly preferred
- Experience with Thai food, E-Sarn food, or Asian cuisine is an asset
- Food Safety Certification is required
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Comfortable working with high heat and wok cooking
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Positive attitude and willing to learn
Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
