Cobourg Auto Collision is a busy, high-quality collision repair facility committed to craftsmanship, customer satisfaction, and teamwork. We are looking for an experienced Auto Body Technician who takes pride in producing high-quality repairs and works efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform collision repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Repair and replace damaged body panels, frames, and structural components
- Complete metal work, panel alignment, dent repairs, and refinishing preparation
- Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and measuring systems safely and accurately
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicles as required
- Ensure repairs meet manufacturer and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with estimators, painters, and team members to meet production goals
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5+ years of experience as an Auto Body Technician
- Strong knowledge of collision repair procedures and equipment
- Experience with frame repair, welding, panel replacement, and body finishing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
- Red Seal License and additional certification in automotive repairs are an asset.
Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cobourg, ON K9A 3C4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- auto body repair: 3 years (preferred)
