Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes and maintaining food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering excellent food service to our guests. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in the food industry.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure a safe dining environment
- Assist with cleaning and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Support the team during busy service hours by ensuring timely food delivery
- Maintain organization of ingredients and supplies for smooth kitchen operations
- Adhere to all health regulations and safety protocols
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if needed
