We are seeking a Store Manager to take full ownership of a single location. This is a hands-on leadership role with senior-level expectations — you are responsible for store performance, team accountability, and compliance execution.

Lead daily store operations with a strong on-floor presence

Ensure full shift coverage and step in when required

Coach, develop, and hold team members accountable to performance standards

Enforce cash handling, inventory, and loss prevention procedures

Monitor store KPIs and adjust operations to meet targets

Operational Leadership & Execution

Assist in making daily decisions involving time management, staff scheduling, and team support

Uphold product quality, cleanliness, and all Company standards

Understand and apply cost control procedures, financial accountability, inventory levels, and labour management

Support the implementation of company programs by motivating and guiding staff to meet objectives

Manage with integrity and honesty at all times

Communicate clearly and delegate responsibilities to ensure smooth store operations

Act as a confident decision-maker, supporting team productivity and development

Ensure employees work productively and deliver quality customer experiences

Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees

Ensure visual merchandising standards and planograms are executed correctly

This role is responsible for maintaining compliance across both regulated environments within the store:

Cannabis Retail (TNCC):
Adhere to all requirements set by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, including ID verification, age-restricted sales, store security, and product handling -
Vape/Nicotine Retail (True North Vapes):
Ensure compliance with the Smoke-Free Ontario Act, including restricted product access and sales standards
You are accountable for ensuring policies are followed correctly and consistently at all times.

Retail management experience (high-volume or regulated retail preferred)

Strong leadership and ability to hold teams accountable

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Experience with scheduling, labour management, and store performance

Strong communication and conflict resolution skills

Ability to step in and support operations as needed

Must be able to work 40 hours a week

Must be available for evenings, weekends, and peak retail hours

This is a fully on-site role

Managers are expected to work their full scheduled shifts based on business needs

Must be proficient in computer skills, internet navigation, and knowledge in Microsoft office.

Essential Job Functions and Work Environment:

Must be able to lift or carry objects weighing 0-50 pounds during scheduled shift.

Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, reach, push/pull, walk and squat during scheduled shift

Must be of age to sell Cannabis -
Must be able to perform daily cleaning Duties that include but are not limited to:

Pick up garbage in lot, lawn, sidewalks
- Empty garbage’s in-store and outside
- Sweeping and mopping of floors
- dusting shelves
- Cleaning of Bathrooms is a must
