Position Summary
MoneyWay is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead enterprise software engineering, cloud modernization and technology strategy. This role is responsible for software architecture, application development, infrastructure modernization, hybrid cloud platforms and engineering leadership while overseeing the modernization of legacy business systems and the delivery of secure, scalable financial technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
· Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in enterprise software development and technical leadership.
· Lead software engineering teams delivering enterprise applications, payment systems and customer-facing platforms.
· Modernize legacy enterprise applications and migrate business systems to cloud-native architectures.
· Design enterprise software architecture, secure APIs and distributed services.
· Develop and maintain integrations with banking systems, payment providers and third-party platforms.
· Experience migrating legacy business applications, including 4D-based systems, into scalable modern platforms is highly desirable.
· Lead hybrid cloud, Kubernetes and enterprise infrastructure initiatives.
· Oversee virtualization, networking, storage, cloud connectivity and production infrastructure.
· Drive DevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD, infrastructure automation and observability.
· Ensure platform security, scalability, availability, disaster recovery and business continuity.
· Collaborate with business stakeholders on technology strategy.
· Recruit, mentor and develop software engineering teams.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
· Experience modernizing legacy systems and designing enterprise-scale software platforms.
· Experience in financial services, payment processing or other regulated industries is an asset.
Technical Requirements
· Languages & Frameworks: C#, ASP.NET Core, TypeScript, JavaScript, React or Next.js.
· Architecture: Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, CQRS, Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, REST APIs and Distributed Systems.
· Cloud & Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Hybrid Cloud, Enterprise Networking, Infrastructure Automation and CI/CD.
· Integration: Secure enterprise integrations, RabbitMQ, Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
· Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
· Security: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, RBAC, IdentityServer or Keycloak.
· DevOps & Monitoring: Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack and OpenTelemetry.
