Rozen Steelworks specializes in the fabrication of pressure piping, power piping, and structural steel. We are currently looking for a dedicated Labourer to join our team in our Acheson, AB.
Responsibilities:
- General shop house-keeping: sweeping/mopping of floors, cleaning up as per procedure, clearing of obstructions and items in walking paths, organization of shop and materials, disposal of scrap/waste, keeping work areas and equipment tidy, etc.
- Handling materials within the shop and outdoors.
- Preparing or assisting with parts to be welded.
- Cut, punch, drill, bend or otherwise prepare material as needed for projects.
- Assemble parts and finished products.
- Assist in moving components and finished parts.
- Assisting welders with miscellaneous duties as requested.
- Operating of basic hand tools and powered hand tools.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment at all times.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Self-motivated with an attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Ability to take direction with assisting other employees in various tasks as requested.
- Ability to communicate well and perform physically demanding work.
- Complete required WHMIS training.
Terms of Employment:
- Full Time Days-Monday to Friday - 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- 10 hour days
- Hourly rate is per Union Collective Agreement
