Title: Sales/Production Analyst

We’re a growing meat processing company and we’re looking for a Sales/Production Analyst to play a key role in connecting customer demand with production reality. This position combines sales and production analysis to support customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and informed decision-making.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with both people and data, supporting customers and sales teams while providing insights that help production plan effectively and deliver on commitments.
What You’ll Do
Sales & Demand Analysis
· Analyze sales data, order trends, and customer demand patterns
· Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance summaries
· Identify variances between forecasted and actual demand
· Provide data-driven insights to support sales planning and decision-making
Production Coordination & Analysis
· Act as a liaison between Sales and Production to align customer demand with capacity
· Provide accurate order and forecast information to support production planning
· Identify and communicate capacity constraints, risks, or scheduling conflicts early
· Track production performance against sales commitments
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Work closely with Production, Shipping, Quality, and Finance teams
· Support clear communication and smooth handoffs between departments
· Help ensure customer commitments are realistic and achievable
Continuous Improvement
· Identify opportunities to improve order flow, forecasting accuracy, and communication
· Support system improvements and data integrity in ERP/CRM tools
Inside Sales & Customer Support
· Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and follow-ups
· Support Sales Representatives with quotes, pricing, and order details
· Maintain professional, timely communication with customers
Order Management & Sales Administration
· Accurately enter and manage customer orders in ERP/CRM systems
· Confirm pricing, quantities, delivery dates, and special requirements
· Maintain customer records, pricing lists, and related documentation
· Support invoicing coordination and resolution of order-related issues
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience
· Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, or a related field (preferred but not essential) or equivalent experience
· 2+ years of experience in inside sales, sales coordination, or customer service (preferred but not essential)
Skills & Abilities
· Strong organizational and time-management skills
· High attention to detail and accuracy
· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
· Strong computer skills and comfortable working with ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
· Accuracy and reliability in order processing
