Abode is seeking a high-performing, energetic individual to join its team as a Customer Care Specialist. As a Customer Care Specialist, you will be resolving customer queries, recommending solutions, and delivering a “WOW” experience. To be successful in this role, you should be an excellent communicator who’s able to earn our clients’ trust. You will help establish our reputation as a company that offers excellent customer care during all sales and after-sales procedures.
You will report to the Team Leader of Customer Care and work closely with all members of the Abode team and other key stakeholders to help grow the business. As a full-time employee, you will be eligible to participate in Abode’s competitive employee benefits package.
- Effectively and professionally answer incoming calls and resolve customer complaints/issues in a positive manner and return all calls.
- Record accurate details regarding customer inquiries into the database and/or CRM and escalate issues as needed.
- Make outbound calls as necessary as per request from customers or to resolve disputes.
- Answer enquiries and resolve problems or discrepancies concerning customers’ accounts
- Liaise with internal staff, external vendors, and customers
- Completing administrative activities associated with serving customers, including accessing information and communicating transaction details
- Ensure that customer receives a “WOW” experience in every interaction
- Suggest improvements and provides ideas to constantly improve our services
- Assist with other tasks and duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Ideal candidate possesses 1 – 2 years of customer service experience preferred within a business to business to consumer market.
- 1-2 years call center experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft & google suite of products
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within tight timeframes while maintaining ongoing accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent judgment and strong problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organized with excellent time management skills, and the ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and procedures
- Exceptional customer service and contact management skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
- Positive attitude, highly motivated, and Outgoing, confident personality, comfortable in dealing with clients and other employees
- Assist with the comprehensive auditing and verification of loan and lease applications to ensure full compliance, mitigate credit risk, and facilitate timely funding.
- Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
