We are looking for a Full-Time Optician to join our growing team. At Opto-mization, our Opticians are trusted professionals who help patients find the best visual solutions for their needs while delivering an exceptional patient experience. This is more than a typical optical position—you will be part of a collaborative healthcare team dedicated to changing lives through vision.
What We Are Looking For
- Licensed Optician
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills

- Strong computer skills
- Knowledge of ophthalmic lenses, frame styling, lens coatings, and optical products
- Experience with optical software and electronic health records is an asset
- Passion for continuous learning and professional growth
Duties Include
- Assisting patients in selecting frames and lenses that meet their visual, lifestyle, and aesthetic needs
- Educating patients on lens options, coatings, treatments, and specialty products
- Taking accurate optical measurements, including PDs, segment heights, and frame fitting measurements
- Adjusting, repairing, and fitting eyewear to ensure optimal comfort and vision
- Processing and verifying spectacle orders
- Troubleshooting eyewear concerns and resolving patient issues
- Maintaining inventory of frames, lenses, and optical supplies
- Managing third-party insurance claims and billing
- Collaborating closely with Optometrists, Vision Therapists, and administrative staff
- Ensuring exceptional patient care throughout the dispensing process
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional optical environment
- Participating in ongoing training and development opportunities
