Water & Sewer / Civil Project Manager

Firma Contracting is currently seeking an experienced Water & Sewer / Civil Project Manager to oversee underground infrastructure and civil construction projects throughout Saskatchewan. Responsabiltiies:
- Manage water, sewer, and civil construction projects from planning through completion
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, surveyors, suppliers, and internal project teams
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls
- Monitor project progress to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget
- Support field supervisors and forepersons by providing direction and resolving project-related issues
- Ensure all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and client expectations
- Review project drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders
- Manage project documentation, reporting, RFIs, submittals, and project closeout requirements
- Lead project meetings and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders
- Promote and enforce company health, safety, and environmental policies
- Conduct oneself in a professional manner with honesty and integrity
Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of project coordination or project management experience in Saskatchewan
- Proven experience managing water and sewer infrastructure projects
- Civil construction experience is required
- Strong understanding of underground utility construction methods and municipal infrastructure projects
- Excellent planning, scheduling, and organizational skills
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with project documentation and reporting
- Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field is considered an asset
- Experience working with municipal infrastructure projects is considered an asset
- Experience with project management software is considered an asset

- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- Ground Disturbance Level II
- Standard First Aid
- Leadership for Safety Excellence
- Confined Space Entry
