Our client, a global manufacturer requires an experienced Millwright.
Role Summary
To repair and troubleshoot equipment and machinery efficiently, safely and in accordance with the plant standards.
Key Qualifications/Requirements
- Industrial Millwright certification of qualification (433A)
- Minimum five years experience in an industrial environment;
- Physically capable of performing essential duties of the job.
Key Responsibilities
- Able to use all equipment and machinery related to the trade requirements
- Understands and reads all schematics and drawings associated with the trade
- Rebuilds, repairs and improves all machinery and equipment without supervision
- Troubleshoots active and new machinery and equipment without supervision
- Committed to continuous improvement on machinery, equipment and processes
- Meets schedules set by Maintenance Supervisor
- Has adequate knowledge of SPC
- Coordinates preventative maintenance schedules
- Trains apprentices in all aspects of machine and equipment build, repair, safety and SPC
- Has good interpersonal and communication skills and is results oriented
- Has an exemplary attitude towards housekeeping, safety and company policies
- Commitment to continuous improvement and work place safety

- Lean Manufacturing and 5S concepts awareness and adherence
- Other duties as may be required.
