Work Location: Calgary and surrounding area
What You’ll Do:
- Operate material handling Double Walkie End Rider in a safe and responsible manner.
- Unload and properly store received inventory in designated areas.
- Pick, pack, and load outbound orders onto delivery trucks.
- Build and stock secure pallets.
- Wrap orders when required to ensure stability during transit.
- Place completed orders in the correct staging areas for shipping.
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and protocols.
What You’ll Need In Order To Qualify:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a distribution, logistics or warehousing operations.
- You must be able to lift 55 lbs. and be comfortable picking heavy orders.
- This position involves standing, walking, heavy lifting, and repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team or independently.
- Proficiency in using order entry systems and inventory management software is an asset.
- Basic computer and math skills.
Equipment Experience:
- Minimum 1-year Double Walkie End Rider experience, certification preferred.
- Experience with a Vocollect Headset is an asset but not required.
- Pallet/ Power jack experience is an asset but not required.
- Experience with RF Scanner is an asset but not required.
Special Conditions Of Employment:
- · Must have CSA-approved safety boots and reflective vest
