Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Night Auditor/Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. This role is vital in ensuring smooth overnight operations, providing exceptional guest services, and maintaining the security and integrity of the hotel during nighttime hours. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a strong background in customer service within a hotel or hospitality environment. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued to assist a diverse guest population. Duties
- Check guests in and out efficiently while providing a welcoming experience
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage multi-line phone systems, taking reservations and providing information about hotel amenities
- Prepare daily financial reports, reconcile accounts, and ensure accuracy of guest billing
- Monitor security cameras and perform safety checks throughout the property during overnight hours
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and updating guest records
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards
Experience
- Prior experience in front desk operations or hotel reception is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest interactions effectively
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and guest management software is advantageous
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest communication
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, including phone etiquette and guest services best practices
- Previous experience working night shifts in a hospitality setting is a plus but not mandatory
