Position Summary
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our healthcare team across multiple locations. The role includes facility-based shifts, wound care visits, and reporting visits in community and clinical settings. This position offers flexible scheduling and rapid onboarding for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in facility and community settings
- Administer medications, including insulin, as per care plans
- Perform wound care and dressing changes
- Conduct patient assessments and report changes in condition
- Document care accurately and maintain clinical records
- Work collaboratively with healthcare teams and support staff
- Ensure compliance with clinical policies and safety standards
- Manage time effectively across assigned visits and shifts
Shift Types Available
- Facility shifts:
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Wound care visits (minimum 2 hours per visit)
- Reporting and community nursing visits (scheduled based on availability)
Compensation
- Starting from $40/hour
- Mileage provided in select assignments
- Competitive pay based on experience and assignment type
Requirements
- Active LPN registration in good standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada (citizen, PR, or valid work permit)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Criminal Record Check (vulnerable sector screening)
- Up-to-date immunization records
- Clinical experience in facility or community care
- Strong skills in:
- Wound care
- Medication administration
- Insulin administration
- IV therapy (preferred/required depending on role)
- Strong communication and time management skills
