Job Summary
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Experienced MIG/TIG Welders to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise welding operations using Metal Inert Gas (MIG) and Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) techniques to fabricate and repair metal components. Your expertise will ensure the highest quality standards are met while working efficiently within a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Execute MIG and TIG welding processes on various structural metals according to detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to determine welding specifications and procedures.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other manufacturing equipment safely and effectively.
- Perform rigging tasks to position materials accurately for welding or assembly operations.
- Conduct machining tasks as needed, including measuring with calipers and other precision tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Assist with assembly of metal components, ensuring proper fit and finish according to project requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to welding, rigging, and machinery operation.
- Use basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks during fabrication processes.
Skills
- Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding with a strong understanding of welding techniques and safety standards.
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery operation including plasma cutting tools, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and assembly instructions accurately.
- Familiarity with rigging practices for lifting and positioning heavy metal components safely.
- Experience with crane operation or forklift driving is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform precise measurements using calipers or other measuring devices.
- Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, material quantities, or weld sizes.
- Good understanding of schematics related to mechanical systems or structural assemblies.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
