Want to help kids in our community learn chess?
The Williamsburg Community Association (WCA) is looking for a Kids Chess Instructor for our Fall session.
Responsibilities include:
- Set up equipment before and after class
- Interacting with the participants to make it a welcoming and inclusive environment for all
- Acting as a positive role model to the participants, helping them with their chess game play through Instruction and game play learning.
- Managing student volunteers, encouraging them to interact with the students and help where needed
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
A vulnerable sector police check required from successful applicant.
