Duties
- Prepare and assemble menu items efficiently following company standards for quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and swiftly
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with attention to detail and accuracy during transactions
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance sales and improve guest satisfaction
- Support food handling procedures to ensure freshness, safety, and proper storage of ingredients
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely order completion and service delivery
- Uphold restaurant policies on sanitation, safety, and food industry best practices at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or restaurant service is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing inventory or sales data
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures within the food industry
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus but training will be provided
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
