Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical and welding systems, with the ability to build, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure operational efficiency and reliability in our manufacturing processes.
Duties
- Install, align, and maintain machinery and equipment according to specifications and schematics.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Fabricate parts as needed using welding techniques and other fabrication methods.
- Collaborate with other trades such as machine operators and industrial electricians to ensure comprehensive maintenance solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed, including repairs and replacements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing all tasks.
Experience
- Minimum 5 yrs experience as a Licensed Millwright/MTBI
- Proven experience as a Millwright or in a similar role within an industrial setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Proficiency in welding techniques and fabrication processes is highly desirable.
- Experience with industrial maintenance practices, including troubleshooting electrical systems, is preferred.
- MIG welding experiance
