Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Crew Member to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and quality standards, including food handling and sanitation protocols.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cashiering, and sales transactions.
- Assist customers with menu selections, provide excellent customer service, and handle inquiries professionally.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Uphold cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and maintaining sanitation standards throughout the shift.
- Support team members with food prep, stocking supplies, and ensuring quick service during busy periods.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Follow all safety procedures related to food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
Skills
- Prior experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and create a positive guest experience.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, register operations, and retail math calculations.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience working in quick service or fast food restaurants is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours.
