Sheet Metal Worker Role and Responsibilities
The main duty of a Red Seal Sheet Metal Worker is to produce a finished product that meets the requirements specified in a schematics sheet or blueprint and is free of defects and flaws. This position would also mentor Sheet Metal Apprentices and act as a leader.

Responsibilities:
· Studying blueprints, diagrams and specification sheets to gain a thorough understanding of the work required
· Choosing the right sheet metals to use for a project based on the plan or blueprints
· Precisely measuring sheet metal and marking it at the proper places to comply with required specifications
· Using cutting tools to prepare sheet metal for use in subsequent steps in manufacturing or as-is installation
· Shaping, drilling and bending sheet metal to fabricate parts or components
· Installing metal sheets on construction sites
· Welding, bolting, brazing and soldering sheet metal to join pieces together

Requirements:
Red Seal Certification.
5+ years of industry experience required.
Leadership Skills.
Availability: Monday to Friday (with some weekend availability as needed).
Pay Range: $30-$45 per hour.
Start Date: As soon as possible
