Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Toast POS or similar platforms
- Handling coffee and tea beverages
- Stocking supplies and keeping work areas organized
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front of house area, including counters, and service stations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
- Support team members in maintaining a welcoming and organized environment
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS or similar platforms for efficient cashiering
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks as needed, with attention to quality and safety standards
- Effective communication skills for teamwork and guest interactions
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
- Kitchen experience or food industry background is a plus but not required
