Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Asbestos Abatement Worker to join our environmental safety and construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely removing and containing asbestos materials in compliance with all safety regulations. This role involves working in various environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites, to ensure safe and effective asbestos abatement. Prior experience in cleaning, construction, or restoration is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate committed to safety and quality work.
Responsibilities
- Safely remove asbestos-containing materials following strict safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
- Prepare work sites by sealing off areas and setting up containment barriers
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform asbestos removal tasks
- Conduct cleaning and decontamination procedures after abatement activities are completed
- Assist with site restoration to ensure environmental safety standards are met
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and materials handled
- Follow all safety procedures to prevent contamination and exposure risks
Skills
- Must Have level-2 certification for worker.
- Must do clean shave.
- Minimum 6 month experience
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in potentially hazardous environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various conditions
- Good communication skills for reporting issues or concerns during projects
