At West End Athletic Club, we’re more than just a gym - we’re a community built around boxing, fitness, personal growth, and connection. We’re looking for an energetic, organized, and people-focused Member Experience Associate to join our team.
The ideal candidate is proactive, motivated, and takes initiative to create an exceptional experience for every member who walks through our doors.
What You’ll Do
As the first point of contact at the club, you’ll play an important role in shaping the member experience each day while helping maintain the welcoming, high-energy environment that West End is known for.
Responsibilities
- Welcome members and guests with a friendly, professional, and energetic attitude
- Build strong relationships with members and prospective clients
- Manage and follow up with leads, recommend classes and services based on individual goals, book sessions, and support lead conversion into active memberships
- Provide information about memberships, classes, promotions, events, and club services
- Give tours to prospective members and guide them through the onboarding process
- Manage class check-ins, bookings, memberships, and appointments using Mindbody
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Process payments and maintain accurate member records
- Maintain front desk organization, opening/closing procedures, and daily checklists
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Ensure common areas remain clean and presentable throughout the day
- Address member concerns professionally and proactively
- Assist management with administrative and operational tasks as needed
- Track and manage inventory
- Help foster a positive, motivating, and team-oriented club culture
What We’re Looking For
- Previous customer service, front desk, sales, or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Energetic, positive, and team-oriented personality
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable taking initiative and building relationships with members
- Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Passion for fitness, boxing, wellness, or high-performance environment considered an asset
