KNC Electric is owned by York Factory First Nation and operates out of Thompson MB. Providing 24/7 residential and commercial electrical services locally and throughout Northern Manitoba communities for over 35 years. Duties:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to determine the layout of electrical wiring
- Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using various tools
- Install and connect electrical components, such as switches, outlets, and circuit breakers
- Troubleshoot electric furnaces and heating equipment
- Troubleshoot faults in electrical circuits and control systems
- Installation of security systems, alarms and cameras along with other data installations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or enrollment in a trade school is preferred
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good manual dexterity and physical stamina
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
