Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Repair Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of electronic systems and devices. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, mechanical aptitude, and experience working with computer hardware and schematics. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic equipment, including low voltage systems and computer hardware
- Perform repairs on electronic components using hand tools and specialized maintenance techniques
- Interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to identify issues and implement solutions
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal functioning of electronic systems
- Test repaired devices to verify proper operation before returning to service
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and troubleshoot complex issues
Qualifications
- Proven experience with electronics repair or related technical field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools used in electronics maintenance
- Experience working with computer networking, hardware, and low voltage systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams accurately
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for electronic equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with troubleshooting computer hardware is preferred but not required
