Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure food is prepared efficiently and presented attractively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including stations and equipment
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Assist with meal preparation during busy service periods to meet customer demand
- Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests or servers as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Adhere to sanitation standards and ensure compliance with health regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary best practices
- Experience with serving guests in a hospitality setting is a plus
- Passion for the food industry and continuous learning of new culinary skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
