What You’ll Do
- Perform maintenance and repairs with speed, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Diagnose and solve mechanical issues across all major vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, braking, A/C, and more)
- Use advanced diagnostic tools, power tools, and hand tools to get the job done right the first time
- Handle warranty repairs in line with manufacturer specifications
- Inspect vehicles thoroughly and identify additional service or safety needs
- Provide accurate labour estimates and clear repair recommendations
- Communicate confidently with service advisors and customers, breaking down technical issues in a simple way
- Perform testing and road tests to ensure peak vehicle performance
- Keep detailed, accurate records of work performed and recommendations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Stay ahead of the curve by continuously learning new technologies and techniques
What You Bring
- Licensed Automotive Service Technician (Journeyman preferred, ~3+ years experience)
- Dealership experience is an asset
- Strong knowledge of modern vehicle systems, diagnostics, and automotive electronics
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using computer systems and diagnostic software
- A strong track record of quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- A team player who can also work independently
- Professional, dependable, and driven with strong integrity
- Valid G Driver’s License with a clean abstract
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting when required
