Title: E-Commerce Specialist (with a focus on Amazon Seller Central, Google Ads and Shopify Optimization)
Type: Full Time (8:30am – 5pm, Mon – Friday) - In-Office position (non-remote)
Payment: Annual salary of $48,500 - $50,000
The Felt Store is Canada’s one stop shop for felt materials and products online. Drawing from 50 years of manufacturing experience we service a growing online community of crafters, designers and industrial markets. This is a rare opportunity to join a small (but growing) e-commerce team within a larger group of family-owned manufacturing companies. We are looking for a friendly and motivated individual that can assist our e-commerce team in customer service and day to day operations.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- This role involves 70% e-commerce and digital marketing operations and 30% customer service support. Distribution of responsibilities will adjust according to the retail busy season.
Primary Responsibilities
· Amazon Optimization
- Manage our Amazon Seller Central accounts daily in the US and Canada.
- The responsibility entails creating, maintaining, and optimizing Amazon product listings. This involves SEO optimization, A+ Premium Content & storefront, and ensuring alignment with Amazon's policies and guidelines
- Strategize, execute, and manage Amazon paid campaigns end-to-end to drive growth, profitability, and brand visibility. This includes conducting keyword research, initial setup, daily performance optimization, and data-driven reporting.
- Investigate and troubleshoot issues with Amazon Seller Central, including account health and listing problems.
· Google Optimization
- Creation and optimization of Google Ad Campaigns
- Have in-depth knowledge and experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console and Google Looker Studio (Formerly Data Studio), and the ability to use data to drive optimization decisions.
· Website Optimization
- Implementing and managing the technical aspects of SEO campaigns to improve our website's ranking and visibility in search engines, including website architecture, on-page optimization, canonicalization, duplicate content analysis, and structured data markup.
- Experience with Shopify is an asset.
- Work closely with the creative team on recommendations for ads, testing, and brand consistency in description writing, images, and ad assets.
- Regularly monitor analytics to track and report on the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement. Implementing strategies that yield higher conversion rates and sales.
- Ensure campaigns do not exceed weekly and monthly ad spend budget.
- Stay current on SEO and PPC and ecommerce industry trends and best practices.
Secondary Responsibilities
· This role will also support our customer service lead, comprising roughly 30% of their day-to-day responsibilities.
- Work with customers via phone/email answering product questions, responding to order inquiries.
- Process returns and manual orders.
- Providing shipping quotes & investigating lost/damaged shipping claims.
- Assist walk-in customers looking to purchase from our show room.
- Staying up to date with ongoing events, sales campaigns and process changes.
- Update our company knowledge base pertaining to product and customer inquiries
Our Ideal Candidate
- 2-3 years minimum experience working in the E-commerce industry including Amazon Seller Central experience with FBM and FBA.
- Takes initiative to stay up to date on SEO and digital marketing trends
- Likely has a bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Google Ads Certified in Search, Display, Shopping, and Video good to have.
- Meta Blueprint certification good-to-have.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain a clear and consistent brand voice
- Ability to work independently and manage competing project timelines.
- Works well in a team environment (open concept office)
