The Phone Zone is looking for a reliable and skilled Mobile Phone Technician & Sales Associate to join our growing team. You’ll handle hands-on repairs, diagnostics, and troubleshooting for iPhones, Androids, tablets, and more — while also assisting customers with sales of new and pre-owned devices.
We’re looking for someone who’s confident with both tools and people — someone who can repair efficiently, sell professionally, and help create a great in-store experience.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair common hardware issues (screens, batteries, charging ports, etc.)
- Perform back glass repairs using laser machines safely and accurately
- Troubleshoot software issues across iOS and Android platforms
- Inspect and test devices before and after repair for full quality assurance
- Assist customers with phone sales, trade-ins, and accessories
- Maintain accurate repair and sales records
- Stay current with new devices, repair tools, and evolving techniques
- Keep your workspace clean, organized, and efficient
- Deliver excellent customer service and clear communication about repair options and timelines
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience repairing smartphones and tablets (minimum 2–3 years preferred)
- Strong understanding of both hardware and software diagnostics
- Experience with laser back glass removal machines (preferred)
- Confident working with iOS, Android, and computer-based systems
- Friendly, professional attitude with strong communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced setting
- Bonus: Previous experience in retail or tech sales
