Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer/equipment operator to join our team. Operators for:
Skid steer
Roller
Paver
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support the operations of our facility. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. The Laborer will work closely with other team members to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Operation of skid steer or roller
- Rake, tamper and shovel as needed
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including cleaning and organizing work areas.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team efforts on various projects.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Support other departments as needed, demonstrating flexibility in job duties.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools is a plus.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions as required by job duties.
- Work-related certificates are an asset
- Experience is mandatory
