We are seeking experienced Hydraulic Fitters to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems used across transportation equipment, and agricultural machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install hydraulic and pneumatic systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Install pneumatic control systems, air lines, regulators, actuators, and related equipment.
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, pneumatic diagrams, assembly drawings, and technical manuals.
- Perform pressure testing, commissioning, and functional testing of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic faults using appropriate testing equipment
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Hydraulic Fitter or Mechanical Fitter.
- Extensive experience assembling and installing hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
- Competent in hydraulic hose assembly and tube bending where required.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, torque equipment, and hydraulic testing equipment.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Fitting & Turning, or equivalent.
- Hydraulic or fluid power certification (desirable).
- Experience with OEM equipment assembly.
