Work Location: You will be based out of our Agassiz office. However, flexibility to work in various job locations across British Columbia is required. Travel expenses are covered.
Job Description:
Express Rock and Soil Limited specializes in landscaping for high rise buildings. We are seeking a full time, ambitious, and skilled Installer. As an Installer you will be responsible for installation of rock, soils, filter soxx, geo grid and mulch materials in a safe and productive manner. We are expecting you to have some experience in landscaping, great interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, work well under pressure and ability to work long hours.
Responsibilities:
- · Client care
- · Working as a team
- · Installing rock, soils, mulches and other materials via the express blower application
- · Moving pipe from truck to job site
- · Safe Rigging Practices
- · Lifting installation pipe on and off rooftop buildings (Training Provided )
- · Landscaping, raking, shoveling, leveling soil and materials
- · Working outdoors year round
- · Fixing and repairing pipe
- · Keeping the trucks and equipment clean and organized
Requirements:
- Completion of Secondary School
- Flexibility to work in various job locations (work out of town).
- Standing on your feet for long periods
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects
- Proper gear for outdoor work required
- Rappelling is an asset
- Fall protection is an asset
- Experience working with mulch blower machine in asset
- Valid driver’s licence
- Hourly rate depends on experience.
