Position Overview
We are seeking a driven and experienced Assistant Store Manager with a bold personality and an outgoing leadership style. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, leads by example, and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. As a key leader, you will support the Store Manager in driving sales performance, developing the team, and ensuring operational excellence while embodying Lacoste’s values.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Support the Store Manager in recruiting, training, and developing a high-performing team
- Lead by example on the sales floor, motivating team members to achieve and exceed targets
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and energetic work environment
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance individual and team performance
- Ensure team members embody Lacoste’s values of boldness, tenacity, and respect
Sales & Customer Experience
- Drive sales performance by actively engaging with customers and supporting the team
- Ensure an exceptional and consistent customer experience aligned with brand standards
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to achieve goals
- Maintain strong product knowledge and ensure team expertise
Operations & Merchandising
- Support daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Oversee visual merchandising to ensure brand standards are consistently executed
- Manage inventory levels, stock flow, and loss prevention procedures
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational processes
Business Performance
- Analyze sales trends and reports to identify opportunities for growth
- Assist in executing business strategies to drive profitability
- Support scheduling and payroll management to optimize productivity
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in a retail environment (2+ years)
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Results-driven with a passion for sales and customer service
- Energetic, confident, and outgoing personality
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
