Job Summary
JT's Outdoor Fabrics is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate / Customer Service Support experience to join our growing team. This role is warehouse-focused, including order picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and general inventory tasks. You will also provide customer service support by assisting with inquiries and order updates.
We’re looking for someone who is organized, hardworking, and comfortable working in a hands-on environment. If you enjoy a mix of physical work and light office communication, this role is a great fit.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Duties
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Receive, unload, and organize incoming shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory and assist with cycle counts.
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Move, lift, and store products as needed.
- Support daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth workflow.
Customer Service Support
- Answer customer inquiries by phone or email.
- Provide order updates, product information, and simple troubleshooting.
- Assist with order placement or minor order changes.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers.
Qualifications
- Required: 2+ year of experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving
- Required: 2+ year of customer service experience
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate data-entry skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift and move products safely 50 lbs (typical warehouse tasks).
- Proficient with Gmail and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Knowledge of fabrics or DIY materials is an asset—training provided.
