Job Summary
Verka Food International Ltd. is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Warehouse Workers to support our warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products while ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming shipments
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently
- Load and unload trucks using manual handling or material handling equipment
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and health & safety regulations
- Perform inventory checks and report discrepancies
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is an asset.
- Ability to lift up to 50–70 lbs on a regular basis
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift certification is an asset
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.85-$19.00 per hour
