Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations of animals to assess health status
- Diagnose illnesses and injuries through clinical evaluation and laboratory testing
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient
- Educate pet owners on preventive care, nutrition, and treatment options
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through ongoing education
Experience
- Veterinary degree from an accredited institution is required
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the state is mandatory
- Strong communication skills and compassionate approach toward animals and clients are essential
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: $90,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
