We're looking for a friendly, responsible individual to join our team of office workers. The right candidate will be organized, detail oriented proficient with Microsoft 365 Word, Excel Programs. The successful candidate will work in a team environment, will possess effective communication skills, and will be able to manage their time wisely in order to accomplish high-volume projects. Dealing with our company's day-to-day operations, your responsibilities and duties will be assigned at the direction of the Office Manager and may include, but are not limited to the following:
- assisting with office duties (reception, filing, etc.)
- assist our Sales Manger with tasks such as populating quotes, sending confirmations, updating product sheets and catalogues.
- processing customer orders to be entered into production, and learning how to make specification sheets for our production department.
Qualifications:
- good organization skills
- close attention to detail is essential
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to perform basic mathematical computations. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions and percentages to practical situations.
- must be proficient, quick and comfortable with personal computer navigation and operation
- Windows 10/11 / Microsoft Office 365
Education and/or Experience: high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Autocad / Design experience is considered an asset, but not required. On-the-job training will be provided to the successful candidate. This position wage is Salaried Commensurate with Experience.
