Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Hitachi Seiki HITEC-TURN 25G CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines, specifically CNC lathes and milling machines, to produce precision components. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with Fanuc controls, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints. The successful applicant will contribute to efficient production processes by ensuring high-quality output through proper machine operation and troubleshooting.
Duties
- Set up and operate Hitachi Seiki CNC machines, including CNC lathe and CNC milling machines, following detailed specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models created in SolidWorks or other CAD software.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to minimize downtime.
- Adjust machine parameters based on inspection results or process requirements to optimize machining accuracy.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and forklift as needed for setup and material handling.
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.
- Assist in assembly operations when required, ensuring components are assembled according to specifications.
- Proven experience operating Hitachi Seiki CNC machines or similar equipment with Fanuc controls.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a background in machining, manufacturing, or related fields.
- Proficiency in CNC programming and familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks or other design tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Basic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machine offsets.
- Experience with machining tools, including calipers, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and forklifts is preferred.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards.

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
