The Epicurean is looking for experienced restaurant hosts/hostesses for either part time or full time. Must be open to a flexible schedule. As our host/hostess, you will be responsible for assigning customer tables, taking phone calls, managing the wait list of people and being able to respond to various questions.
In order to qualify for our host/hostess position, you must have the following requirements:
- Must be open to a flexible schedule as there are positions available for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Must have previous work experience as a host.
- Must work well in a team environment and be outgoing and friendly.
- Must be able to work under pressure and be able to multitask.
- Greeting incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact
- Managing and fulling the required flow of guests in to the dining and out area along with providing wait times to according guests if appropriate
- Seating guests to their table
- Working as part of a team and recognizing the importance of each member’s role
- Exercise sound judgment and problem solving skills
- All other duties assigned by management
- Able to walk or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during stressful and or busy times

About The Epicurean:
In April 2016, new ownership and a new staff embarked on the reopening of “The Epicurean”. The restaurant is renovated with a contemporary look and a new concept which includes serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our cuisine is mainly Mediterranean based on fresh food locally produced and cooked by a very talented culinary team. It has a warm ambiance and our goal is to meet all your dining needs.
During the summer, there are 100 patio seats gorgeously cover by a butternut tree.
