Concrete Forming Carpenter

We are currently hiring experienced Concrete Forming Carpenters for active commercial and civil construction projects in Edmonton. This role involves building and installing concrete forms, placing reinforcing materials, and working as part of a construction crew to complete concrete structures safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Build, install, and strip concrete formwork for foundations, walls, columns, and slabs
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and engineered formwork materials
- Assist with placing and securing reinforcing materials as required
- Ensure forms are aligned and built to project specifications
- Operate hand and power tools safely
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all company and site safety procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of concrete forming experience
- Experience on commercial or civil construction projects preferred
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Skilled in using carpentry hand and power tools
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in outdoor conditions
- Steel toe boots and PPE required
- Reliable transportation to job sites
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Day shifts (8–10 hours)
- Overtime may be available based on project requirements
