Hi, my name is The Mule. I love chef-inspired tacos, cult classics, tequila drinks, GOOD tunes, vegetarians, bourbon, graffiti, vegans, mood lighting, queso & YOU.
I should also mention I'm 100% gluten free. And I'm 100% serious about that. Our bartenders have crafted a tequila- focused cocktail menu that will surprise and fascinate, and we also have a variety of beers on tap.
We offer a variety of fare that is sure to satisfy either the most dedicated carnivore or delight your vegetarian and/or vegan side.
The Job:
Our Line Cooks are one of many behind-the-scene heroes of our businesses. To join our team, here are the basics of what would be expected of you:
- Working all line & prep positions, in a competent and confident manner
- Cohesively working with the rest of the BOH team
- Performing all assigned duties as required, including prep responsibilities, deep clean requirements, etc.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Maintaining a positive and committed “Do Whatever It Takes” attitude
- Receiving direction from The Mule's BOH management team.
What we are looking for:
- 1+ years of work experience in restaurant kitchens is required.
- Previous work experience as a restaurant Line Cook will be an asset.
- Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday) is required.
- Valid Food Handler's Certification will be an asset.
