**Job Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our Injection Moulding team at our Milton, Ontario operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, with expertise in mechanical and electrical systems in an injection moulding manufacturing industry.
**Duties:**
- Working knowledge of injection moulding setup/process & machine programming
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical/electronics and pneumatics
- Service and repair auxiliary equipment : thermolaters, chillers, grinders and material dryers
- Monitor and maintain air compressors and water tower systems.
- Work with and direct contractors and sub-contractors as necessary
- 5 + years’ experience in an industrial manufacturing plant (injection moulding is an asset!)
- Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machinery and AUX equipment
- Robotics experience is considered an asset
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications
- Work closely with Management to complete tasks
- Facilities maintenance as required
- Self-starter able to work independently and with a team
- Must have your own tools. Specialty Tools will be supplied
**Nice-to-Have Skills:**
- Previous experience working with injection moulding machines
- Knowledge of injection moulding processes
