Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- The installation, repair or replacement of asphalt or SBS rubberized shingles on sloped roofs.
- Set up job sites, identify and correct safety issues, understand the overall roofing assembly and make sure the materials are installed correctly to complete a fully functioning roofing system.
Job Requirements:
· Experience with a good proven track record is a must; 3 year minimum is preferred
· Skilled in the safe and effective use of all tools and devices required for this position
· Knowledge of and adherence to Ontario Safety Regulations
· Must be flexible with hours of work and be able to travel out of town as needed
· Must be reliable, punctual, work as a team player or by yourself
· Physically fit as the work is demanding, must be comfortable working with 50lbs+
· Be punctual, reliable, flexible, and comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders
· A valid “G” Drivers’ License is an asset
· Valid WHMIS, Working at Heights, and certification in Ladder Training Certifications
· PPE required (Safety hat, steel toed boot/shoes/fall arrest equipment) which can be purchased through Done Right Roofing with an employee discount.
Renumeration will be dependent on experience and ability.
Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
