Summary
We are a high energy, fast paced restaurant located walking distance to the Rogers Centre along the city's busy Waterfront. We are dedicated to serving exceptional food with great presentation. We are looking for passionate Line Cooks to join our team at our Downtown Location to help us consistently deliver a great guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Station Management: set up, stock, and maintain your assigned station with necessary supplies for service
- Menu Execution: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to our recipe specs, portion control, and presentation standards
- Food Safety & Sanitation: Adhere to strict food safety, sanitation and labeling standards (incld. FIFO)
- Speed & Accuracy: Handle high-volume service rushes with calmness, precision and efficiency
- Teamwork: Communicate effectively with other team members (FOH, HOH & Management) and support where necessary
- Compliance: Follow all workplace health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe kitchen environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in food service or similar fast paced environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Reliable team player with a positive attitude.
- Flexible work schedule. Evenings and Weekend availability preferred.
- Basic culinary skills are preferred.
