Job Summary
We are looking for an AI & Automation Technician to support the development and maintenance of intelligent automation systems for chemical and process operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about industrial automation, sensors, and smart manufacturing technologies.
Responsibilities
- Install, program, and troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, motor controls, and automation equipment.
- Integrate and interface sensors, control systems, and data acquisition devices.
- Support AI-enabled process monitoring and GreenLight technology applications.
- Perform maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of automation and electrical systems.
- Read electrical schematics and control drawings and document system changes.
- Work with engineering teams to improve process efficiency, reliability, and safety.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, sensor integration, automation systems, and control hardware.
- Experience interfacing sensors/tubes, motor controllers, and industrial communication protocols.
- Knowledge of AI-enabled automation, Green Light technology, industrial IoT, or process control is an asset.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and automation systems in an industrial environment.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
