Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your maintenance scheduling expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a key role in optimizing maintenance processes and ensuring operational efficiency. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Engineering, Operations, and Planning), investigate and recommend amendments to the maintenance schedule, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of maintaining and updating the Master Maintenance Schedule, but also provide detailed job plans and labor hour estimates for special projects.
We’ll look to you for:
Recommending work standards by studying operational requirements and utilizing work-measurement techniques.
Investigating, preparing, and coordinating amendments to the Master Maintenance Schedule.
Ensuring the integrity of technical details in the Master Maintenance Schedule and executing necessary updates.
Providing guidance in Maintenance Planning and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) committees.
Maintaining maintenance process documents for repairs and testing procedures.
Creating sequential, detailed job plans with tasks and material pick lists for special projects and other job types.
Monitoring equipment maintenance schedules and advising planners on workload or maintenance changes.
Validating work order durations against optimal time estimates in the maintenance manual.
All about you

University or college degree or certification (an asset).
5 years of relevant experience.
Sound understanding of basic industrial engineering principles related to work study, process analysis, and resource planning.
Familiarity with rolling stock equipment (a strong asset).
Project management skills (an asset).
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
Basic knowledge of database software (e.g., MS Access, Maximo) is a plus.
Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
Willingness to travel occasionally for operational needs.

Compensation The expected compensation for this role is $92,000 to $108,000 based on experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
