Position: Journeyman Plumber - New Install for Trailer units
Salary: $34-36/hr for Journeyman
Location: Acheson AB
Permanent Full Time position - 40 hours per week + regular overtime as needed.
We are currently seeking 2 journeyman or 4th period plumbers for a large industrial trailer manufacturer. This position would be installing all plumbing piping (ridged and flexible), installing fixtures, manifolds, water heaters and other equipment.
Duties:
- Install plumbing equipment according to schematics and drawings
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and appliances
- Weld or solder pipes and fittings together using various techniques
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and other issues
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure proper installation and functionality of plumbing systems
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering any questions they may have
Experience:
- Journeyman/Journeywoman or 4th period apprentic Plumber
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
- Class A or B gas ticket is an asset
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
