Experienced CNC Press Brake Operator / Metal Fabricator
-We are seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator / Metal Fabricator to join our growing manufacturing team. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality fabricated components and enjoys working in a fast-paced custom manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC press brake equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication prints.
- Produce accurate parts while maintaining tight tolerances.
- Select proper tooling and perform machine setups.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met.
- Assist with general fabrication duties as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet production schedules.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of CNC press brake experience.
- Strong blueprint reading skills.
- Experience with machine setup, tooling selection, and bend sequence planning.
- Ability to work with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will also have experience in one or more of the following:
- MIG and TIG welding.
- General metal fabrication.
- Shear, saw, punch, or laser operation.
- Understanding of CAD drawings and DXF files.
- Basic CNC programming or editing.
- Forklift and overhead crane experience.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to assist with prototype and custom fabrication work.
