Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Pet Care Specialist to provide exceptional care for a variety of animals. Predominantly dog walking. This role involves ensuring the well-being, safety, and happiness of animals while accomodating to a variety of behavioural needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent communication skills, and be capable of walking long distances.
Duties
- Walk, Feed, Hydrate, and administer medication to pets according to client instructions
- Provide daily exercise and playtime to promote physical and mental health
- Cleaning up pet waste
- Monitor pets for signs of illness or distress and report any concerns promptly
- Maintain detailed records of pet care activities and observations
- Must be comfortable handling multiple dogs at once
- Ensure the safety of pets during interactions and while in transit if necessary
- Pick up and drop off dogs from client‘s homes
Experience
- Prior experience working with animals is preferred
- Strong customer service skills are essential for communicating effectively with clients
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine love for animals is vital for success in this role
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Requirements:
- Must have reliable vehicle for transportation
- Availability Monday-Friday 9am-2pm
- Must be available in the fall September-November.

Pay: $15.70-$20.00 per hour
