We are a privately owned, patient-focused dental practice located in the heart of Toronto's vibrant Danforth community. As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated, friendly, and reliable Level II Dental Assistant / Administrator to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both clinical assisting and front desk administration, and who is looking to become a valued member of a supportive, collaborative team.
Schedule Requirements
Applicants must be available to work:
- Tuesday evenings
- Saturdays until 2:00 PM
Additional weekday hours will be discussed during the interview process.
ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties
- Chairside assisting for a variety of dental procedures
- Taking digital radiographs and intraoral images
- Sterilization and infection prevention protocols
- Preparing treatment rooms and instruments
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Assisting with patient education and post-operative instructions
Administrative Duties
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Managing patient communications by phone, email, and text
- Processing insurance claims and treatment estimates
- Coordinating recalls and follow-up appointments
- Maintaining patient charts and documentation
- Supporting daily office operations
Qualifications
- Certified Level II Dental Assistant (NDAEB Certified)
- Current HARP certification
- Previous dental assisting experience preferred
- Experience with ClearDent considered an asset
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills
